In NASCAR, Kurt Busch led only one lap in yesterday’s Daytona 500, but it was the most important one, as the 2004 series champion won his first Daytona 500. Ryan Blaney finished second followed by AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, and Paul Menard. Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick won the first two segments, but were later involved in wrecks. Ryan Reed won Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Daytona. Both series will now head to Atlanta for races next weekend.
