A Johnson City man is facing arson charges, accused of setting a fire inside the Weis Markets in West Corners that caused almost $10,000 in damages. The Broome County Office of Emergency Services announced today that 22-year-old Zachary Constable is now in custody and charged with starting the fire on Feb. 16 inside the store. The fire was extinguished by the store’s automatic fire sprinkler system and no injuries were reported. Constable was sent to the Broome County Jail after arraignment.
