Heavy snowfall and damaging winds are on their way to the Southern Tier as part of a winter storm heading up the coast. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from tonight through Wednesday for all of the Southern Tier and Bradford County. The storm is expected to arrive overnight with snowfall continuing all day tomorrow. Snowfall rates of an inch per hour are possible along with wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. The weather service is forecasting 16 inches of snow for our area and more possible in higher elevations. The governors of both New York and Pennsylvania are busy making emergency preparations and are already cautioning drivers about going out tomorrow. We will continue to follow this storm and provide updates. WEBO is the official emergency station for Tioga County.
