Syracuse defeated UNC-Greensboro 90-77 in a first round NIT Tournament matchup heard live on WEBO last night. Graduate student Andrew White scored 34 points and broke the school record of 3-pointers in a season. He made seven of them last night to break the old mark of 107 set by current assistant coach Gerry McNamara. Syracuse will now host Ole Miss at 11am Saturday at the Carrier Dome. The winner will advance to the semifinals of the NIT.
