Ryan Newman won yesterday’s Monster Energy Cup race at Phoenix. As heard on WEBO, he stayed out during the race’s final caution and was able to hold off the drivers with new tires as he claimed his first victory since 2013. Justin Allgaier won Saturday’s Xfinity Series race. Both series will stay on the West Coast and race at California next weekend.
