NYSEG says thousands of customers in Broome and Tioga counties could be without power until at least tomorrow night. In an email today, the company said they hope to have services restored to 90 percent of customers in the two counties by 10pm tomorrow. Repairs will be completed for the rest by 1pm Thursday, according to the release. More than 2,000 customers in Tioga County – mostly in Apalachin – have been without power since last night’s thunderstorms. More than 13,000 customers are still without power in Broome County, where a State of Emergency remains in effect until further notice from County Executive Jason Garnar.
