The Greater Binghamton Airport is back open today after a month-long runway reconstruction project. Yesterday, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney announced that the airport will receive a $588,000 grant to pay for 12 sets of replacement protective equipment, 12 sets of self-contained breathing apparatus, and a new rescue and firefighting vehicle.
