A Tompkins County jury will resume deliberations today in the murder trial of a man accused of stabbing an Ithaca College student last year. Nagee Green of Freeville in Tompkins is accused of stabbing and killing a 19-year old Ithaca College student last August on the campus of Cornell University. Court documents contend the 23-year old Green was involved in an early morning fight following a party. Green was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and second–degree assault. He pleaded not guilty to those charges prior to the trial in Tompkins County court. The jury deliberated since last Wednesday afternoon after closing arguments on Tuesday. Another student was stabbed during the fight but recovered from the wounds.
