Tioga Downs had to cancel Saturday night’s planned 38 Special concert due to severe weather that owner Jeff Gural said made it impossible to put the show on safely. In a statement, Gural said that they will try to reschedule the concert and will know by July 12 if the band will be able to return for a performance later this summer. If 38 Special can return, anyone who purchased a ticket will receive a new ticket for the rescheduled concert. If the band can’t make it back to Tioga Downs, people who already purchased tickets will be given the option of a full refund or to donate the $15 ticket price to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group.
