The New York State DOT announced that Prospect Mountain Construction will require lane closures in the City of Binghamton. Starting on Thursday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interstate 81 North will be reduced to one lane between Exit 3 (Broad Avenue) and Exit 5 (Front Street) for pavement repairs. The right two lanes will be closed. Work will be performed weather permitting. Motorists are advised to be alert for slow moving traffic and sudden stops.
