The Ellis Brothers Rehabilitation Project is underway at one Hawley Street in downtown Binghamton. Ellis Brothers Furniture will move to the former JC Penney location on Court Street.The project includes a 40,000 square-foot interior renovation and upgrades to the exterior of the building.The plans are to turn the vacant building into a modern furniture showroom and gift shop. The Ellis family says it will be open by the end of the year.
