Broome County officials have announced a new program to help fight the opioid epidemic.County Executive Jason Garner joined other local leaders Thursday to outline the Peer Response team. Certified peer advocates with the Addiction center of Broome County will work with local law enforcement.They’ll link at-risk individuals to local treatment and support services.
