Tioga Downs will be presenting its annual ‘Corntastic’ event this coming weekend. It’s a celebration of the area’s agriculture; the corn is locally grown and sourced from the Nichols area.Free grilled corn will be available during live racing, which kicks off at 6:50 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday. People can also register for contests that will take place during the racing program. The Corn Toss contest is Friday the 25th. Saturday will bring the Corn Eating contest, and on Sunday the corn husking contest will be held. There are cash prizes each day, with the winner receiving $100.
