The third annual First Responder Charity Softball Tournament will be held September 30th in Ithaca. The game is organized by local Ithaca Police, Fire and EMS personnel, and sponsored by businesses and members of the Ithaca Community. There will be two games played at Ithaca College’s Kostrinsky Field. Proceeds will benefit the Southern Tier Food Bank. The first game between Ithaca Fire and Bangs Ambulance will begin at 2PM. The winner will then play last year’s champion, the Ithaca Police at 4PM.
