Early Sunday morning, an Ithaca Police officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle parked in the roadway on Elmira Road. A passenger was found to have crack cocaine in his possession. 38-year-old Teheran Forrest of Ithaca was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing, where the suspect was found to be concealing a wrapper containing crack cocaine in his mouth. Forest was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and felony Tampering With Physical Evidence. Forest was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
