Jeffrey Buckler has been named the new acting County Fire Coordinator by Broome County Executive Jason Garnar. Buckler is currently the chief of the Harpursville Fire Department. He has been a firefighter for 28 years and has been an EMT for 25 years. Buckler replaces current fire coordinator Thomas Vroman. The appointment will become permanent when approved by the Broome County Legislature.
