Broome County Executive Jason Garnar will present his budget proposal to residents on Tuesday evening. Members of Garnar’s staff will outline his proposals to the Town of Kirkwood Board at its 6 pm meeting. Garnar will also present his budget to the Town of Conklin Board. That meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.Both meetings will be at each town’s respective town hall. Garnar outlined a $375 million-dollar budget proposal to the Broome County Legislature on September 17. The proposal would result in a 1.84 percent tax increase, which is below the property tax cap set by New York State.
