A Federal Appeals court has overturned the 2015 conviction of former New York State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos. The conviction on Bribary and Extortion charges alleged that Skelos and his son had used his position in Albany to provide the son with a series of no-show consultant jobs. Skelos was removed as Majority Leader and removed from office upon his conviction.
