State Senator Fred Akshar is conducting a survey to determine his constituents feelings about ‘Bump Stocks’. That is the device used in the Las Vegas attack that allows semi-automatic firearms to function like fully automatic firearms. Under current law, Bump Stocks are legal to possess, sell, and purchase, but are illegal to attach to a semi-automatic weapon. There is legislation pending in Albany to outlaw the device. The survey is available on Senator Akshar’s website.
