Ithaca Police Investigate Shots Fired During Robbery

Ithaca Police responded to a ‘shots fired’ report Saturday night in an apartment on North Plain Street. It was determined that multiple shots had been fired, but no one was apparently hit. Two people inside the building report that they were robbed by two male suspects wearing ski masks. One of the men was struck in the head by a rifle butt. The suspects were last seen leaving the area northbound on N. Plain Street in a red sedan with unknown license plates. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Ithaca Police Department at 607-272-3245.
