A guilty plea has been entered in Broome County Court for the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Gerrard Davis during a domestic dispute. 27 year-old Liz Ayala of Binghamton was arrested in March. Ayala is expected to be given a ten year sentence with five years of parole. The couple was reported to have an extensive history of domestic incidents, but the District Attorney did not provide any rationale for the sentence. DA Steve Cornwell said additional information would be revealed at sentencing.
