The Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of the Twin Tiers has approved the 2017 Floyd Hooker youth grants for Tioga County. The awards total of $21,700 will go to 5 non-profit organizations and school districts. They include: 1) Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga for their After School YES Club 2) Food Bank of the Southern Tier for the BackPack Program 3) The Candor Central School District for Laugh-a-lot Poetry 4) Owego VFW Post 1371 for their Children’s Christmas Party, and 5) Tioga Central School District for Funds for Hoop House The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers serves the counties of Bradford, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga (PA) and Tioga (NY).
