There were no injuries in a Tuesday evening house fire on Danby Road in Ithaca. The home was heavily damaged. One person was home at the time. The man was alerted to the fire by a neighbor around 9PM Tuesday. Fire companies were called out a second time at about 5:20amto put out again. The fire began on the porch. An investigation is in progress.
