Ithaca Police have completed an investigation of a personal injury accident that occurred last week. At about 10:30 in the morning, a bicyclist ran a stop sign and collided with a City of Ithaca Department of Public Works vehicle. The bicyclist suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby trauma center. The bicyclist has since been released from the hospital. The bicyclist has been ticketed. The name of the bicyclist and the name of the operator of the City of Ithaca DPW vehicle are not going to be released.
