A Pennsylvania man has died following a medical emergency while driving on I-81 south in the Town of Kirkwood. The accident happened about 6:30pm on Thursday. 58-year-old Gasparo Mendicino of Moscow, Pennsylvania drove into a ditch between the north and southbound lanes. CPR was performed but Mendicino was pronounced dead at Wilson Hospital. There was no damage to any other vehicle or property. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
