A Tompkins county man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for the attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl in Ithaca. 49-year-old Ray Dennis was found guilty in November of attempted rape and endangering the welfare of a child. Dennis will be subject to 15 years of post-release supervision following his release.
