Members of the Binghamton Police Department Metro Swat Team were deployed on Wednesday.The four man unit spent their day shoveling snow. That’s right. Sidewalks and driveways, for dozens of elderly residents in the city.The SWAT team is responsible for responding to any situation that requires specialized weapons and tactics. For their hard work, the team received numerous thank you’s for their assistance.
