Rain will change to wet snow around midnight for the higher elevations and during the pre-dawn hours in the valleys.Heaviest snow Friday, diminishing Friday evening. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Friday. Tree branches could fall. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph Friday afternoon and evening will cause blowing and drifting snow.
