There were two arrests following a high speed chase that began on Route 81 in New York and ended in Lenox Township, Pennsylvania. The chase was initiated as a result of an armed robbery in Broome County. Police forced the vehicle to spin out. 30-year-old Derrick Svenson of Binghamton fled the vehicle but was arrested shortly thereafter. A second person in the vehicle, 31-year-old Jennifer Griffith, also of Binghamton, was also arrested. Both will face multiple charges.
