On Thursday, the New York State Police arrested 46-year-old, Marc A. McKercher, of Union, for the felony of Attempted Arson. Troopers began an investigation on Monday into a complaint of two suspicious devices on the front steps and on the front lawn of a residence on King St., in Endwell. The items were determined to be improvised explosive devices which did not detonate successfully. The New York State Police Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the scene and rendered the items safe. The State Police is continuing their investigation.
