After four days of deliberations, a Broome County jury has found 21-year-old Jabari Ashe guilty of the 2017 murder of Tyquan Gumbs. The conviction was for second degree murder and a criminal possession of a weapon. The 26-year-old victim was found behind a residence last April. Prosecutors are expected to request the maximum sentence, when Ashe is in court on June 21st.
