Ithaca Police have released a sketch of the man officers say tried to rip a woman’s clothes off. Police are calling it an attempted sexual assault. It was reported to IPD on March 11, and is alleged to have happened along the 200 block of Linden Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. Police say a man grabbed a female from behind and attempted to pull her clothes off. The victim fought off the suspect, who ran away. The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, clean-shaven, about 5’ 10” tall, with an average build and medium length dirty blond or light brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ithaca Police.
