A Corning man is in custody after police say he made a terroristic threat directed at a local restaurant. Police were called to Rock Bottom BBQ just after 9 Saturday night to reports of a man who had threatened to “shoot up” the restaurant. Officers found the suspect intoxicated and in possession of a loaded .45 caliber pistol. 44-year-old Michael Jenkins reportedly called the bar to speak to an employee. Employees told him not to call the business and said he wasn’t allowed to come into the building. Police say Jenkins ignored that and showed up to the bar, but was denied entry until police arrived.
