A brush fire near the Barker and Nanticoke line was caused by trees brushing with power lines. The fire was extinguished and there was no damage to any homes on Pendill Hill Road or Driscoll Road. The fire got very close to one structure. The risk of brush fires remains high with both low humidity and windy conditions. There is a state wide ban on open fires in effect until at least May 15th.
