Waverly Police arrested 35-year-old William Sutton, of Sayre, Tuesday in the parking lot of a local mini mart. Sutton was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and several misdemeanors. He was a passenger in a parked vehicle and was found in possession of several “charged” hypodermic needles, a plastic container with several narcotic pills, drug packaging items, and methamphetamine packaged for sale. Sutton was arraigned in the Village of Waverly Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail. Bail was set at $25,000. He also faces an extradition warrant to the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office in PA.
