The Greater Binghamton Airport hosted an emergency exercise Saturday morning. Multiple Broome County first responders were at the airport. The exercise is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration. The exercise included a mock disaster with a plane crash. Fire crews were outside the airport trying to put the fire out. The American Red Cross also set up a place inside the airport to help with victims of family members if the disaster were to happen. The training is required to happen at least every three years.
