Police were called to a home on Chapin Street in Binghamton Tuesday night and found a woman with knife wounds to her neck and throat. 45-year-old Shannon Callahan is under arrest. He has been charged with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Criminal Contempt. The incident began as an argument and then quickly escalated. The woman was able to escape and call 911. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
