The suspect in a recent standoff in Cortland has died. Police found 28-year-old Corey Hobart suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Saturday morning at the Hampton Inn. Hobart died Sunday afternoon at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. The incident began at the Johnson City Walmart where Hobart was stopped on an outstanding parole warrant.
