A Waverly man is under arrest for assaulting another man with a razor blade on Broad Street. Waverly Police say 23-year-old Justin VanBuren, has been charged with felony assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon in the May 26th incident. Police allege VanBuren hit another man in the face with a razor blade, causing a minor injury to the victim’s chin. VanBuren was arraigned in the Village of Waverly Justice Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail. Bail has been set at $40,000 cash or $80,000 property bond.
