Binghamton Police have arrested a Binghamton man and charged him with multiple burglaries. 51-year-old Jeffrey Martin is charged with the June 5th burglary at the Metro Inter-Faith Apartments on Chenango Street and the May 25th attempted burglary of a commercial building on Court Street. Additional charges are expected, including several downtown and church burglaries. These burglaries are not believed to be related to other recent copper thefts across the City’s Southside. The investigations are ongoing; anyone with information is urged to contact the Binghamton Police.
