Waverly Police have arrested 50-year-old Barbara Bertelsen of Waverly for Felony Criminal Sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Bertelsen was arrested on a warrant following a police investigation into illegal drug sales at her home. The investigation followed allegations of her selling Oxycontin pills from her home in May. She was arraigned in Waverly Court on July 10th, and held in lieu of bail at the Tioga County Jail.
