The L, G & T tennis tournament in Binghamton made up significant ground after rain cancelled all but one singles match on Wednesday. Top seed Jordan Thompson won his match against James Ward in straight sets. Number 2 seed, Marcel Granollers, is also through to the second round, winning in straight sets against Alessandro Bega of Italy.
