A suspicious sign posted on the window of Grotta Azzurra Italian Restaurant on Main Street in Binghamton claims that the restaurant has been seized by New York State. The notice, from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, was posted on the front door of the establishment sometime before Sunday afternoon. It claims the property has been seized for nonpayment of taxes, and is now in the possession of New York State. The restaurant could not be reached for comment.
