On Friday afternoon, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office was called to a hotel on Old Front Street in the Town of Dickenson for a report of a stabbing. Deputies found that five people were involved in an altercation and two people were stabbed. 34-year-old Kareem Gibson of Binghamton is alleged to have ambushed one of the group of combatants as they left the hotel. The two victims were taken to Wilson Hospital for observation. Gibson was charged with Assault and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
