New York businesses and residents affected by severe storms and flooding on Aug. 13-14, 2018, can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The loans were made available in response to a disaster declaration by the SBA. The declaration covers Broome and Seneca counties, and the adjacent counties of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Ontario, Schuyler, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates in New York; Susquehanna and Wayne in Pennsylvania. Customer Service Representatives will be available at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center to answer questions about the disaster loan program and help individuals complete their applications. The local Center is in the Broome County Library, 185 Court Street in Binghamton.
