During last year’s flu season, 23,377 people were hospitalized for flu-related conditions. There were also 6 pediatric deaths and 25 pediatric deaths over the last four years. The flu season generally begins in October and runs through May. This is your reminder to get your flu shot, and make sure your children are vaccinated as well.
