Residents of the Lake Ontario village of Sodus were advised to shelter in place, while police searched for a gunman. There are few details currently available, but it appears a gunman shot at least two people at about 2PM Monday. A woman was shot as she backed her car out of her driveway on Carleton Street. A second resident of the home was also shot. Both victims died at the scene. The gunman is still at large at last report.
