The 11-year-old boy struck by an SUV in Binghamton while walking to school is reported in critical condition at Upstate Medical in Syracuse. The accident occurred at State Route 7 and Frederick Street. The boy is identified as Jariah Durgala. The site of the accident was an active work zone. The investigation is on-going. No tickets have been issued at this time.
