Johnson City Police arrested a local man for violating an order of protection. At about 11:00pm Sunday, police were called to a residence on Olive St for a report of a physical domestic dispute. 34-year-old Richard Dipaolo is accused of hitting his wife in the head. He is also accused of pushing a 16-year-old male, as the teen was trying to assist his mother in calling the Police. Dipaolo was charged with felony Criminal Contempt and several misdemeanors. Dipaolo was taken to central arraignment and remanded to the Broome County Jail.
