Sunday morning, an Ithaca resident reported that he had been bitten by a dog while walking on Sears Street. The dog was medium-sized and white in color and was accompanied by a brown dog with a docked tail. The dogs ran from the area after the incident. A check of the area was met with negative results. The victim was encouraged to seek medical treatment per standard protocol considering the unknown medical history of the dog that big him. The Tompkins County Health Department asks that anyone who locates the dogs or has any information to call them immediately at 607-274-6688.
